This new Queen Latifah/Common romantic comedy looks promising. The always beautiful Paula Patton plays Latifah's sidekick. It is about a professional basketball player, Common, who injures himself and who is then rehabilitated by a physical therapist played by Queen Latifah. My guess is they fall in love at some point. Looks pretty straightforward and uncomplicated. Here's a look at the trailer. Film will be coming out in May.

Wow...this is what we need at Oscar time. A regular drama. Don't know about Paula vs. Queen though. Kind of a stretch...lol. Gonna go see that one for sure.
I agree, just a plain drama that has regular black people who are not stereotypes. Also glad to see a black drama that is not a Tyler Perry movie.
