This new Little Dragon single called "Klapp Klapp" is not only thrilling, but it has an interesting and thrilling new video as well. As usual, they deliver. I can't wait for their new album, can't get here fast enough. Check out the video.

Deep Cotton "We're Far Enough From Heaven Now..."

I heard this song in a commercial for Sonos (the one where Janelle Monae is dancing aound her house listening to this song). The group is Deep Cotton and the song is called "We're Far Enough From Heaven Now We Can Freak Out." I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. They kind of remind me of Fishbone mixed with that 90's group Whale. Please take a listen. It might make you dance around as well. Odd, but catchy.

Mos Def in Tokyo, Japan

This is not new, but it is a pretty awesome documentary of Mos Def promoting his last CD in Tokyo. I really enjoyed seeing him go shopping for clothes and eating in Tokyo. I'm not making it sound very exciting, but it really is for some reason.

Solange's New "True" EP

Solange's new 7 track EP "True" was released this week and it does not disappoint. All of the tracks are incredible. She finally has found a nice musical sound and style. Her new vibe is electronic soul sound and differs from the 60s style sound of her previous album. My favorites are "Locked In Closets" and "Some Things Never Seem to F**cking Work." Check out "Locked In Closets" below if you haven't already.

Bjork's New "Mutual Core" Video

This is all kinds of awesome. It looks kinda like the earth is making out with itself. It is the latest single from Biophilia. Please check it out below.

Idle Warship's "Driving Me Insane"

I kind of like this video. Didn't realize that it was released as a single. Even crazy and in a strait jacket, Res still looks pretty cute.

Solange releases her new single "Losing You"

I love this new single and video. If the rest of her album sounds like this one, then it will be great. Her dance moves are also pretty cute. I really appreciate that Solange does not follow current radio trends and forges her own path (her sister Beyonce could take some notes here). The single drops today, 10/2/2012. Solange plans to release a 7 track EP called "True" on November 27th and then a full-length album sometime in early 2013.

Tweet Tuesdays

The "Southern Hummingbird" Tweet has jumped on the bandwagon and is now giving away free music every Tuesday (just like Timbaland, Kanye, and Swizz Beats). I have always enjoyed her beautiful singing voice and look forward to every Tuesday to see what she has to offer us. It has been a little while since her last album, so the free tracks have been a treat. Head on over to her official website to scoop up the free tracks at www.iamsimplytweet.com. So far, she has released 4 tracks. "Trouble" and "Day Dreaming" have been my favorites so far.

Kimbra was featutured on the smash hit "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye. I was kind of curious as to what her own music sounded like. I'm kind of feeling it. Not really what I was expecting, but I like her. Check it out.

Mark Ronson is a music producer and he features two my favorite artists on this track called "A La Modeliste." It is taken from a project called Re:Generation. Love the song, makes me dance.

Maxwell's TwoNight Tour

Well, we are still waiting for his second installment of the "SUMMERS" trilogy, Maxwell is serving up a mini-tour where he will be playing his entire catalog over two-night gigs. Kind of interesting and would be something to see. Not many of our favorite artists are willing to perform their entire catalogs onstage. This will at least tide us over until he puts out the new disc (hopefully this summer). I know he is usually worth the wait, but this waiting feels more like torture. Frank Ocean "Thinking about You"

I could listen to this song all day long. I really wish I could sing like Frank Ocean. Song is excellent, but this video is very bizarre. It kind of freaks me out. It says it is "official," but it is so strange that I have my doubts. It is not new, but still deserves a spin or two. Frank please put out your new album. I eagerly await the release.

Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die"

I love, love, love this song. I was about to go to sleep and saw this video (yeah they still show videos apparently) and had to watch it to the end to see who she was. Her voice haunts

me.

Santigold's new video for "Disparate Youth"

I think I love this song and video. Much calmer and more focused than her previous effort on "Big Mouth." I have high hopes that her new album will also be incredible. Totally digging her 80's vibe. The album will be released on April 23rd.

Gorillaz "DoYaThing" with Andre 3000

Gorillaz have a new single with Andre 3000 and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. It's a pretty nice sounding combination (I can't stop listening to it). M.I.A's "Bad Girls" Video

The always interesting and sometimes controversial artist known as M.I.A. has a new video for "Bad Girls" which will be from a upcoming album this summer. My only complaint is that this song is not really new (she already gave this one away for free on her Vicki Leekx Mixtape 2 years ago)but is still a great song and always stood out on the mixtape. I'm also not really feeling her choreography for the video. But nobody's perfect, right?

Tin Sparrow "For You"

I heard this song on a TV show and couldn't get it out of my head. It was really haunting me, so I had to look it up to see who sang the song and ended up buying their EP from Itunes. The EP is called "From the Sun" and has 4 tracks (all of which are pretty nice sounding. Just thought I would share.

Little Dragon's "Crystalfilm"

This is a new video by indie electro favorites Little Dragon. It kind of creeps me out with the live scarecrows with creepy human eyes. Good song though. It made me very curious to see where the video was going with the live scarecrows and the little girl. I was thinking something scary was gonna happen (I remember seeing that horror movie from the 80's called "Dark Night of the Scarecrow" where a slain man becomes a scarecrow to avenge his death).
