The Brand New Wonder Woman Outfit

Hmmm,
I have always been a fan of the Wonder Woman costume. The original Wonder Woman, Linda Carter, is a very tough act to follow. Supposedly there are plans for a new NBC Wonder Woman series and here is a look at her newly designed outfit. The outfit is sexy enough, but the girl wearing it I'm not so sure. Maybe I'll have to actually see her in action. The verdict is still out on this one.

Dionne Warwick's firing on Celebrity Apprentice

Wow, this got pretty nasty. Cat fights, accusations, Latoya Jackson and Dionne Warwick as scapegoats. Dionne is so lazy, she clearly has her own agenda (she wants to promote herself rather than her charity). Dionne was the only person in their group that left the task early, she said she was tired and then left the group to go to sleep while everyone else continued working.

Dionne seems to have a lot of attitude towards the other women in her group. She really went after NeNe when she got fired and took it rather personally. It was really sort of ugly. Dionne first volunteers herself to leave and then changes her mind. The only ideas that she ever seems to offer are ones that involve her singing in the recording studio. So rude. In my opinion, she really deserved to be fired. Please watch.

Let N.E.R.D. "Hypnotize U"

This video is so ridiculous to me, but I still secretly (or not so secretly) still love it for some reason. It pretty much makes me laugh. I love the way he can make the bodies of the scantily clad models vibrate with the sheer motion of his hands and the beat of the song (what special powers that Pharrell has). Please watch this silly video.

Scream 4 Trailer

Are we ready for this yet? It was only originally planned to be a trilogy, this 4th installment seems unnecessary (I've heard that this is the beginning of a brand new trilogy). I have a feeling that they will probably kill off the Sydney character at the beginning of this film (I would bet money on it). I guess time will tell if I am correct or not. Comes out April 15th.

Martina Topley-Bird's "Valentine"

This is a fan-made video, but it is pure genius. The film that they used works perfectly with Martina's moody song. I think I love it. The video really made me want to see this film, it's called "Alphaville." Take a look.

Remember "That '80's Show ?"

Yeah, I'm not really surprised that you wouldn't remember it. It was completely awful and was cancelled after 13 episodes on the Fox Network. It was not funny at all. The '80's references that they were using didn't even occur at the same times. They just sort of threw together any sort of '80's thing or idea that they could remember together (let's put a Rubik's cube in this scene and some jelly bracelets). It was way over the top, anyway for some reason I thought about it the other day. Here's a clip.

Sun Drop Commercial

This commercial is too funny. Her dancing cracks me up. Almost makes me want to try their beverage, which looks amazingly like Mountain Dew.

Sweet Potato Pancakes

These Sweet Potato Pancakes were excellent, just thought I would share the recipe since I enjoyed them so much. These also can be made in batches and either refrigerated or frozen.

Ingredient:
3/4 pound (2 1/2 cups) sweet potatoes
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions
Place sweet potatoes in a medium saucepan of boiling water, and cook until tender but firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, and immediately immerse in cold water to loosen skins. Drain, remove skins, chop, and mash.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix mashed sweet potatoes, eggs, milk and butter in a separate medium bowl. Blend sweet potato mixture into the flour mixture to form a batter.
Preheat a lightly greased griddle over medium-high heat. Drop batter mixture onto the prepared griddle by heaping tablespoonfuls, and cook until golden brown, turning once with a spatula when the surface begins to bubble.

I made these into waffles that were pretty fantastic. I also thought they could be sweeter, so I added about a tablespoon of brown sugar.

Enjoy

Blast from the past...Bobby Brown visits the View

Well his style is a little tired (that leather look is straight from 1993), but he still sounds pretty good. This brought back a lot of memories, he was the first concert that I ever went to. My friend and I won tickets on the radio for his "Don't Be Cruel" tour back when I was in Junior High School. Anyway, it's nice to see him sober and happy and discussing his upcoming projects.

Alex Jones on "The View"

This was completely crazy. I don't even know where to begin. I think he pissed off all of the ladies, he barely would let them ask him any questions. And then he starts getting into it with Elisabeth (good grief). I bet they wish they had never invited him as a guest.

Adjustment Bureau Trailer

This new Matt Damon picture looks promising. It does sort of look like Inception (but maybe easier to understand). Matt Damon usually doesn't disappoint. I've enjoyed his performances in almost every role that I have seen him in (including that movie "Stuck on You" where he was Siamese Twins with Greg Kinnear). Take a look at the trailer, it comes out this Friday March 4th.
