Cee-lo's "Bodies"

This is a really fascinating music video. It's sort of like a mini murder mystery movie. I was intrigued. It stars the beautiful Kerry Washington along with Janelle Monae (in a blond wig) and Bilal (who is imprisoned for some unknown reason). The end of the video says "to be continued" so I guess we will have to wait to see what happens next. I haven't been feeling this latest Cee-lo album, but this reeled me back in. I've watched it several times now. Check it out below.

Bad Teacher Trailer

This movie looks pretty funny. It stars Cameron Diaz and her ex-beau Justin Timberlake. Looks like a weird romantic comedy of sorts. It's interesting that they still get along enough to do movies together. Film doesn't come out until June 24th. It also stars the very funny Jason Segel from "How I Met Your Mother."

MNDR

I find this group kind of interesting in a retro-style '80s kind of way. MDNR consists of duo Amanda Warner and Peter Wade who are from New York City. They have a 4 song E.P. called "E.P.E". that you should check out if you are interested(if you at all enjoy M.I.A. or Santogold, then this might be a good musical fit for you). A friend turned me on to them by introducing me to a track they are featured on by Mark Ronson called "Bang Bang Bang" that also features Q-Tip. Give it a listen.

Battle: Los Angeles

This movie looks promising. Aliens, Michelle Rodriguez, guns, special effects...everything that I like. We'll see how it goes. It doesn't open until March 11, but here's a look at the trailer. It looks pretty awesome.

FYI: The beautiful song in the trailer is by Icelandic musician/composer Johann Johannson and it's called "The Sun's Gone Dim And The Sky's Turned Black."

Review: I really didn't care for this movie at all. It was kind of like watching a video game that you can't participate in (which is just irritating). Way too many explosives and too little plot. The aliens were also completely uninteresting. I think I stopped caring for it about 15 minutes into the movie.

Happy Valentine's Day!

This old Kelis video for "Caught Out There" pretty much sums it up for me. She's so angry, she almost killed that guy. I also love Kelis' crazy pink hair. Anyway, I thought it was Valentine's Day appropriate (for some people). Enjoy.

Rihanna & "Shy Ronnie"

This was a hilarious skit from Saturday Night Live when Rihanna was the musical guest. Rihanna and funny character "Shy Ronnie" are robbing a bank. It was a lot funnier than I thought it would be. I laughed out loud several times. Check it out please.

That Kid Cudi song

I have been hearing this song over and over for weeks on the radio, and I thought it sounded a lot like Kid Cudi. It has been driving me completely crazy, I listened to Kid Cudi's entire new CD looking for it and it was not on there. I thought perhaps I had the wrong artist. While I was looking for Kid Cudi on Youtube I finally found it. I was almost correct, it is called "Memories" by David Guetta featuring Kid Cudi. Anyway, it is my favorite song at the moment.
